So I was checking my emails today and I came across this great video that Keller Williams just posted from an Inman connect seminar. It is Cary Sylvester, Executive Director of Technology and she is talking about going 100% paperless.. (video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=H8FxW6kZld4
I really like how Cary talks about storing your data were your clients can reach it. The cloud ( an online storage solution) is a great place to store data and grab it at anytime anywhere. Paperless has been working it’s way into Real Estate for the last few years. Cary also goes into what it is that your clients want. If we go paperless and have our documents stored in a place where they can get to them anytime, that puts them in the driver seat.
They can view their home online in an instant, we can create flyers postcards and lots of other advertisements for them in minutes with eEdge my marketing. After April 5th this is going to expand tremendously and become a great resource for KW agents.
How shocked would your clients be if you took pictures got on your mobile device, created flyers and had them back to your seller within an
With a virtual system you can show them how easy it will be for others to find their own listing on the net and what they are going to gain from that. As Real Estate Brokers, we have a great power at our finger tips, we just have to learn how to use it.
Clients need to sign something, no problem. With the new eEdge my transaction, that’s coming. They will be able to sign from anywhere on any mobile device. Or they can look at or print any document in the transaction with the touch of a button.
How much easier would your job be if you didn’t have to worry about getting documents over to a client, they can have them instantly. I know this would ease the driving time or the currier fees a great deal.
Also Cary talks about how we are the leader in the paperless world, if we start this revolutions others like title, escrow & lenders will follow suit.
Not only would we be saving a ton of trees, gas and time. But I think we would be taking a ton of stress out of our lives and our clients.
As a Keller Williams agent, I really feel that we are leading the technology based Real Estate, but sometimes we just need a reminder that being in the front is hard work.
